Back from Genting trip. Below is th photo filled posts. Blogger is being increasingly more of an irritant. To be frank, I feel so technologically unsavvy and so ever distant from computers/Internets lately. That includes Frienster (super yesterday i know!) and Facebook ( friends have been asking me to join, I signed up but when i saw th many applications, i closed the page instantly LOL). Call me a lazy pig! I dont mind. ______ sedap! (inside joke, sorry self-humour very much needed).

Well well, since i have not slept in the last 24 hours and have been only clocking a maximum of only 9 hours for 4days (record breaking moment of my life thanks), i shall just type whatever i feel like. So you guessed it, its gonna be wordy. (:

Xmas is coming, time flies. Cliche but so true. Im already at mid-december! 2009 is just around th corner. gosh, need to find a job asap! need more moolah to fly in to feed my needs. lmao.
Okie before reflecting, shall blog like th usual ahlian wannabe, minus the twit way of typing (no offence if you're a member of benglianz revolution). in simple layman terms, I'll just type at a very fast speed and as fast as how my brain is processing the information. Trying my very vest t recall things. HERE GOES!

GENTING TRIP!
stayed over at Jex's place before departing in th morning. An unearthly hour of 5am-ish. I was too excited or maybe my bodyclock just refuse to allow me to fall asleep before 3am. So i didnt catch a wink. Her dad fetched Eunice, Wanjia, Jex & myself t Golden Mile. We didnt manage to get the coach w a mini tv installed to the seats. Managed to finish reading a book on Subhas Anadan (Jana will be able t help me correct his name,cus i think i misspelt it). He's the famous Indian lawyer who fought many murder trials, including the HuangNa case.
Turns out he used t be so rebellious when he's young! anw its a good book.

Genting trip always ends up being a fruitful reading trip too. I've come to realise several things whenever i go to Genting.

1) Im always able to finish one book during my trip
2) This same guy will call/text me when Im in Genting, even though i havent been in contact w him for a long time. (I seriously have no idea why. Its like when i go t genting, he's prompted to contact me, sorry for th 30cents per message sent over, too bad =x)
3) My teeth chatters when i come out of th bathroom
4) This is getting boring.

ANYWAY.. Sixth time i've been to Genting. I dont care how Singaporeans or Msians pronounce it. LOL. It was a 14deg, thankfully i wore the thick and comfy pull-over i borrowed from Jex. On th day when we went to th themepark, i wore 1) a teeshirt 2) a long sleeve top 3) The doraemon pullover 4) long jeans 5) socks and sneakers.

Conclusion: Im a total kiasu Singaporean at heart. Based on my experiences of much teeth-chattering, feeling super cold and shivering in the misty fog last year in Genting, behold, i have came prepared to fight the cold.

Still, i love genting's cold weather lah. Compared t Singapore's. And their Cleo is different from Sgp's issue. LOL cheaper also, when i divide the RM ringgits by the value of 2.38 (exchange rate). Simply love to do the calculations. makes everyth seems to be on a major discounted price! Cheapo-nana i know!

But i think th money i spent on food is really not worth it. 4 prawn wantons RM8. add service charge and gst RM9.20. cheaterbugs, they put RM8 as th initial price lor. Cheat my money. Oily soup and so little prawn -.- Plus bad service! Be really thankful for the service sectors in Singapore. It is higly contrasted w Msia's! Mcdonald's double cheeseburger also taste starkly different. First World hotel is stingyly small and we can hear our "beloved" neighbours across our rooms, speaking so loudly in the middle of the night. TSK. Guess where are they from. HINT: Hibiscus.

They slam doors, speak at th top of their voices at unearthly hour. 3am and 6am. Not a recommended thing to do owing to the very important fact that i am really in need of sleep and i look like a ghost according to Jana when i just left the bed. So guess what? They got scolded by a ghost. HAHA. The little babarians wanted t pick fight w us. LOL. of cus we never stoop to such a low level of theirs, even though initially we were so tempted to. We are level-headed young adults, and i love candyfloss. (:

All in all, this trip definitely bonded th 9 of us from A04. Despite the waking up late, not answering phonecalls/doorbells, the snoring (lol), the momentarily pissed off moments w one another,although it was quite subtle from my point of view, cus i'd like to think we're all tolerant girls, WE BONDED! (hell yeah)

Despite the lousy services we got when buying food esp at Kenny Rogers, squeezy hotel room w noisy neighbours and ridiculous way of queuing in the toilet (due to different culture), i still had fun. :D
So thankful that Sgporeans are still generally not so uncouth. lol. Suddenly feel so patriotic. Next year National day i paint flag on my face.

lastly,
I thank God for making this trip possible. For Mummy dearest, for chancing upon the RM450 at home(which i have spent all of it), PTL!
Also Thank God for th girls. Girl power na na na na.

I went to church today!!! Super duper happy t be back in the House of God. Felt the presence like never before. It always amazes me how the Holy Spirit touches me. Asia conference is coming in less than a week's time. oooohlala.

Last paper's on thursday. Am gonna study very hard for it bcus i love that subject. The end result might not be what i expect. But i surely hope its a good kind of unexpected. Not those w big salty tears. Im gonna give it my best shot, give it my all.

God is gonna bring me thru it. Many thanks to the sugarrushes (pun intended) that i recieved today, the incessant name-calling from Ym and Yh haha. It all made me feel loved.

BTW GOSSIPGIRL ROCKS LA SIA. CHACE CRAWFORD has perfect face. Perfect i tell youuuuuu.

Im left with 2 papers. Tried to google for the H1 maths solutions but apparently there is only H2 solutions put up online. Talk about elitism. So H2 people, check it out haha. And good luck.

I swear when i make it to Uni, i mean IF (i am able to), i will tell everyone that Alevels is a killer, Seab and Cambridge are murderers, Alevels is really stressed up & I have tried my best in every single shitty paper i did.

Though today i did the easiest paper (out of the whole lot). China Studies Case Study. Gosh Im praying so hard that the essay will be manageable. So at least i can tell myself i am able to excel in one at least one goddamn subject?

Its great to feel healthy & well. Alive and kicking. chants *Shandi is back!*

I am so happy to finally join Loveaye & Banana yesterday for short study session. Truly they have (and always will) be my most cherished girls. Their comical, at times albeit endless bicker never fails to make me laugh & roll my eyes. JANA I JUST BLOGGED ABOUT YOU. SEE? HI EUNICE!

Then at night, a short visit from the beloved was such a major pleasant surprise. Certainly made my day! Thankyou Lovely people. They were really like a bunch of people doing an early Xmas carol (:

From now on, i dont mind being a cleanliness freak, really. Its important to keep germs/bacteria at bay. Hello, Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer.

& donuts suck. Every single color, flavour, shape, size... The thought or sight of it just makes me want to puke. And i am really not kidding... * blecccch* Please, i dont ever wanna see/smell a donut for the rest of my life. Omg.

Lastly,
Im so glad, hapy, elated, jubilant, estactic that Mr Barack Obama won th elections. Have been following up on it for a few months now, even though its kinda none of my biz? But heck, he won!!! The acceptance speech made me tear. I know, crazy lala banana. But cant you sense the pride and glory? I for one, think he is capable of invoking greater change and he is simply INSPIRING.
O is for Obama.

What a ride.

The past few days have been kinda.. tumultuous.
Its really unnerving to sleep at 1230am and yet waking up at 430am, rushing to the toilet to vomit. I did just that for every 3 hours interval. Knowing that the next day is the start of Alevels. Its really scary and painful. When i settled down beside my friends in school on Monday morning, i really cant control my tears any longer. Having to puke even thru the midst of my 2 gp papers, that really sucked. Doctor said i was down with stomach flu, high fever, throat inflammation and all those medical terms that makes me even more afraid.

But im really really grateful for having such wonderful and caring classmates. When im at a total lost of what to do, they offered their help. I thank God that Ms Sukhvinder was there to assist me and she even waited outside the classroom after my Gp paper. Im grateful to my tuition friends and teacher, the clique & of cus the cg peeps.

They really showed me what genuine care and concern is. Love just transcends every sickness, every pain, every disease.

So thank you once again for praying for me, for praying with me and for being so concerned about me. Your texts and concern touched my heart in the greatest possible way. (:

& Mummy was worried-sick. She practically rushed here, there, everywhere to get hold of carbon pills, medication and what-nots for me. I really owe it to her big time.

Now that a few papers are down, Gp was quite alright and manageable. As for geog, i dont really know. Cus i was having such a high fever that everything was just blurry.. Mathematics was a major killer. Despite practising so hard for it, hoping to get an A. So SEAB is just out to kill all Alevel students. :(

Moderation, please be taken into consideration.

So now, moving on, i'll work harder for the rest of the papers.

I have absolute faith, that God will bring me through this period of trials and tribulations and i can emerge with a big smile on my face.

Dear Heavenly Father please bless and protect all the loved ones around me, all my friends. May you bless them with good health and that those taking Alevels can concentrate well.

On an entirely random note, was buying some stuff at the pharmacy (im not sick btw) that day & this aunty chatted w me. (I think she loves my Purple college house shirt hehehe).

Upon hearing that im having the big A's in less than a week, her eyes widened with.. awe. well actually its more of horror + shock + awe. Anyway, she kept saying Sgp education system is VERY VERY stress. She seemed worried that all of us students might get burnt out, and kept telling me "Must relax leh, must have leisure time!"

Despite it all, I think im still alright lah, handling it a-okay. I might not flash a super-stressed-gonna-have-mental-breakdown face to everyone, not like they care, but doesnt mean im not ganchiong about it. In fact i do have sleepless nights. ha, like NOW!
But then again, theres so much more to life.. I believe that somehow or rather, the path is not some mountaineous terrain. It has bumps and all, but im sure i'll be fine at the end of th road. Tgt with my lovely study buddies, we're gonna be fine.

So is Sgp's education system very stressful?
Ah, that is th question.
I will tell you when i get my results next year. Hopefully its a pro-PAP one. (:

Study lalala.

Just last week, i was telling Eunice that it has been donkey years since we last go whitesands to mug. Now im there almost everyday. Library cafe, Cavanna, Bk, Mac..
Oh thanks to Jex, we found a new nice place to study! Pacific (smth) at t1 airport. At this moment, finding a conducive place is like digging for gold, and successfully getting them.

Btw T1 staff canteen serve nice food. Eunice's daddy ( or Daddy Ngieng) is so nice. (:
Was there on Sat & Macmac is back from Shanghai!

Anyway, everyone's so genuinely concerned about my studies. Kinda pressurizing but in a positive way. I think i work better under stress. Wanjia & her making me having a sleepless night :P

Time to start the 24hour studying.
Working towards Jay's next Taipei concert w Jojo. Motivation x10!
